Sublime IP joins the Open Virtualization Alliance (OVA)
August 5, 2011
Sublime IP is pleased to announce it has become a full member of the Open Virtualization Alliance (OVA).
The OVA is a relatively new organisation with membership comprised of leading virtualization, datacenter, and cloud solution providers. The OVA’s aims focus on promoting the Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) method of system virtualization.
Announcing the membership today in Tokyo, Sublime IP’s CEO, Justin Sullivan, said “When launching our own cloud offering for both in-house and public use, KVM was clearly the best option for our needs: open source, active development, excellent performance and security, unprecedented scalability and stable support for a very broad range of operating systems including FreeBSD”.
